Yesterday […] Colonel (Mr Winston) Churchill made what is termed a “dramatic reappearance” in the House (he has been four months at the front) in order to deliver an assault on the Admiralty of which he was the head until his resignation last autumn. His attack rather fizzled. No one took him quite seriously. He urged the Government to appoint Lord Fisher (the former First Sea Lord with whom he quarrelled) to his former post.
It is pretty clear that Winston Churchill is on edge to recover his political importance.
