Fine meeting in the Town Hall in the evening. It was feared there would be organised interruptions, but not a single person in the meeting showed any hostility. I fancy the total failure of the pro-war socialist crowd last Sunday took the heart out of the opposition. Their meeting was widely advertised…but the hall which seats 3000 contained only some 200!
