This Week’s War: 43

We get up at 5 a.m. and march off to huts behind (Ypres). This proves to be the best camp we have ever been in, and here we stay from 28th to 31st May inclusive. Beautiful weather all the time and very good surroundings…. Night of the 31st May. – We marched to huts at (Oudinarde). Before we left we saw five Zeppelins making for England. Well! the Huns always said they would try for London.  [SPEC S/D542.Y7.M15]
